We are looking for experienced TIG Pipe Tackers / Fabrication Tackers who are ready to work and can pass the required on-site tacker test. This is NOT an entry-level welding position. Candidates must have previous hands-on experience fitting, positioning, and TIG tacking carbon steel pipe.

REQUIRED TACKER TEST

Candidates must successfully complete: TIG (GTAW) 2" Schedule 80 Carbon Steel Pipe 5G Position Must Pass Visual Inspection & X-Ray If you have professional pipe tacking experience and can pass this test, FlexForce wants to speak with you immediately.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Qualified candidates must have previous professional pipe tacking experience, including:

TIG/GTAW

pipe tacking Carbon steel pipe Pipe fit-up and alignment Proper root opening and tack placement Positioning and tacking pipe in multiple positions Producing clean, sound tacks suitable for production welding Using tape measures and common pipefitting/welding tools Safely positioning, fitting, clamping, and tacking pipe according to fabrication requirements Previous experience as a TIG Tacker, Pipe Tacker, Fabrication Tacker, Pipe Fitter/Tacker, Pipe Welder/Tacker, or similar pipe fabrication position is strongly preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Fit, align, position, and TIG tack carbon steel pipe Verify proper pipe fit-up before tacking Maintain required root openings and alignment Tack assemblies according to specifications Position and clamp pipe and components in fixtures or jigs Prepare and clean weld joints using grinders, wire brushes, and other tools Follow established fabrication procedures and quality requirements Use required PPE and follow all safety procedures Participate in safety meetings, pre-job briefings, and JSAs Maintain a clean and safe work area 30 TACKERS
