This position requires hands-on experience working with steel and stainless-steel tubing, including bending, fitting, routing, and installation. This is not a hose assembly position. Candidates should have experience working with rigid tubing/hard lines and be comfortable reading blueprints to complete installations according to machine specifications. Responsibilities Bend, fit, route, and install steel and stainless-steel tubing Perform hand bending and bench bending of tubing Measure, cut, and prepare tubing for installation Install and connect rigid tubing/hard-line systems on industrial machinery Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and machine drawings Determine proper tubing routes and connection points based on prints Complete tubing installations according to machine specifications Inspect completed work for proper fit, routing, and quality Work alongside machine builders, electricians, and other skilled trades during equipment assembly Follow established safety and quality procedures Requirements 7+ years of pipefitting or comparable skilled-trade experience Experience working with steel and stainless-steel tubing Strong hand-bending and bench-bending experience Experience with rigid/hard-line tubing required; hose-only experience will not qualify Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, coolant, and lubrication systems Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and machine drawings Experience building or servicing CNC machine tools, special machines, robotics, or automated manufacturing equipment strongly preferred Ability to measure, bend, fit, route, and install tubing according to specifications Experience testing piping systems and identifying leaks Skilled trade certification as a Pipefitter is preferred, but equivalent hands-on experience will be considered Ability to provide guidance and on-the-job training to less-experienced Pipefitters and apprentices
