Pipefitter (1643181) —
Summary:
Support industrial automation equipment builds by fabricating, fitting, and installing piping to print while ensuring accurate alignment and secure connections. The work centers on reading controls/technical prints and piping fixtures and end effectors, with hands-on mechanical assembly and system integrity checks as part of the role. Requirements Industrial pipefitting experience with the ability to measure, cut, thread, assemble, and install piping accurately from prints and specifications. Ability to read controls prints, blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications; strong tape-measure skills and basic jobsite math are required. Experience piping fixtures and end effectors, plus solid mechanical aptitude and safe use of basic hand tools and required PPE. Responsibilities Fabricate, fit, align, and install piping and related components to specification on industrial equipment and assemblies. Perform secure piping connections, including welding, soldering, or brazing as needed, and support pressure testing/inspection activities to confirm system integrity and safe operation. Maintain a clean, safe work area while following safety and environmental requirements and coordinating with the build team. Important Notes This is an onsite position in Warren, MI with a Monday-Friday workweek and a 6:00 a.m. start time. The work may involve standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and working around moving mechanical equipment in an industrial environment. Candidates should be prepared to supply and safely use their own basic hand tools and PPE as required for the project.
