This role will enable the applicant to attain their NH Gas Fitters license and EPA 608 certification. Our company installs generators which need gas connections (LP and NG) and minisplits. To do this we are looking for a candidate that can be successful learning to install both and then moving into a leading role for this jobs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction techniques, working on ladders, and know how to use power tools. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to build an install plan which meets manufacturer specifications, code requirements, and customer requests to the extent the request meets the previous factors. Responsibilities Interpret and work from schematics, and technical drawings to build pipe runs and lineset runs. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment for assembly and fitting tasks. Conduct pipe threading, tube bending, and rigging as required for projects. Ensure compliance with ASME codes & standards during all fitting processes. Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed during the pipe fitting process. Digging trenches Working with the team to install minisplit systems. Experience Familiarity with HVAC systems, plumbing, and pipeline assembly preferred, but willing to train the right person.. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use power tools and perform basic math calculations. Previous experience working on construction sites is preferred. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. We encourage candidates who are dedicated to quality workmanship and have a passion for the trade to apply.
