The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pipe fitting and pipe welding. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with various tools and equipment. Duties
- Fit and weld out piping systems
- Read drawings and specifications to determine the scope of work including locations, quantities, and materials
- Prepare, cut, fabricate, layout, fit, position, and assemble piping components together in various positions
- Install hangers, supports, valves and components
- Perform leak tests to ensure the quality of the pipe and the piping systems.
- Maintain safe and clean work environment.
- Able to work from ladders and man lifts at various heights up to 15 feet.
- Continuous communication with supervisor, office personnel, GC, owner, and others as needed
- Experience on commercial and industrial construction projects
- Ability to pass weld test
- Familiar with codes
- Team player
- Perform other related duties, as assigned.
