Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Plumber/Pipefitter to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems across various projects, including commercial, industrial, and residential sites. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to determine piping layouts and installation procedures Install, assemble, and repair piping systems using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment such as
MIG, TIG, FCAW
(Flux-Cored Arc Welding), Stick welding, and Soldering techniques Fabricate pipe components through cutting, threading, bending (including tube bending), and fitting to precise specifications Perform pipe welding adhering to ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) codes & standards and NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) standards for fire sprinkler fitting and pipeline safety Install plumbing fixtures, sprinkler systems, HVAC piping, and fire suppression systems in compliance with safety regulations and construction plans Conduct routine maintenance on piping systems to ensure optimal performance and safety on-site Follow safety protocols rigorously by utilizing proper rigging techniques, power tool safety practices, and adhering to all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations during installation and fabrication processes Experience Proven experience in construction site environments with a strong background in plumbing or pipefitting roles Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans with the ability to interpret complex diagrams accurately Hands-on experience with welding methods including MIG, TIG, FCAW, Stick welding; knowledge of pipe welding standards is essential Mechanical knowledge of pipe threading, fabrication techniques, assembly processes, and pipeline installation procedures Familiarity with NFPA standards related to fire sprinkler systems and safety regulations governing construction sites Ability to use calipers, hand tools, power tools safely while maintaining high-quality workmanship Strong understanding of basic math for measurements and calculations necessary during fabrication and installation processes Experience working with HVAC piping systems or manufacturing environments is a plus Join us if you're passionate about precision craftsmanship in plumbing and pipefitting!
