Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Journeyman Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing piping systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprint reading, welding techniques, and the ability to work with different materials. The Pipefitter will play a crucial role in ensuring that all piping systems are functional and meet safety standards. Duties Assemble and install piping systems according to specifications and blueprints. Build and rig pipelines for various applications, including fire sprinkler fitting. Execute pipe threading operations as needed for installation and repair. Troubleshoot and repair existing piping systems to maintain operational efficiency. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within safety guidelines. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Qualifications Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry. Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings. Experience with fire sprinkler fitting is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this position. Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and work in various conditions.
