Position Summary We are actively seeking experienced Commercial HVAC Pipefitters to install, assemble, and maintain commercial and industrial mechanical piping systems. This position will work on large-scale HVAC projects including chilled water, hot water, steam, hydronic, and process piping systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment. Key Responsibilities Install piping systems for commercial HVAC equipment including boilers, chillers, rooftop units, and heat exchangers. Measure, cut, thread, weld, groove, and secure piping materials (carbon steel, copper, stainless steel, etc.). Interpret mechanical drawings, piping schematics, and specifications to determine proper installation. Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to ensure project milestones and quality standards are met. Perform hydrostatic or pressure tests on systems to verify functionality and compliance. Maintain a clean and safe jobsite, following all OSHA and company safety protocols. Qualifications 3+ years of commercial pipefitting or mechanical installation experience required. Knowledge of HVAC systems, hydronic piping, refrigeration piping, and mechanical code requirements. Welding or brazing experience; certifications are a plus. Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and piping isometric drawings. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
