Job Description
Pipefitter Welder
- Fluor (On‑Site at EMD)
- Martin, SC Full‑Time | Overtime Available | Per Diem Eligible Fluor is hiring a Pipefitter Welder to support ongoing capital projects and facility upgrades at a growing semiconductor‑supply‑chain facility in Martin, SC . This is steady, long‑term work with a small, high‑performing team permanently embedded at the client site. Regular work schedule is Monday
- Thursday, 7:00 a.m.
- 5:30 p.
Install small equipment:
Pumps, agitators, mixers, etc., and place instrumentation (mechanically only). Interpret sketches, Isometrics, and blue prints developing bills of materials for pipe fabrication. Perform craft related math / field routing of Piping. Perform small concrete / grout work to mount equipment. What We're Looking For 2+ years industrial pipefitter experience High school diploma or equivalent is required Knowledge / ability to operate variety of shop tools and small hand tools Must work well as part of team, and strive for strong safety and work culture Ownership of basic tools to perform fitting duties is strongly preferred but not required Must pass welding test Work Environment Work inside industrial facilities around motors, valves, and process equipment Must be able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, work at heights, and use lifts/scaffolding Must be able to operate scissor lifts, boom lifts, and forklifts Basic hand tools required; major tools and PPE provided Pay & Benefits Hourly rate based on experience and certifications Overtime after 40 hours (OT opportunities common but not guaranteed) Per Diem available for workers living 50+ miles away (with documentation) Full benefits package including: Paid leave & holidays 401(k) with company match Health, dental, and vision insurance Fluor reserves the right to modify or revise the job descriptions in part or in its entirety.
