This is a W2 only role — C2C and Corp-to-Corp candidates will not be considered. Role Overview BEPC is actively looking for a Packaging Operator in the Martin, SC area! This position supports the manufacturing and packaging of chemical products by performing production operations in accordance with established procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing experience, forklift experience, and a strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, and teamwork. This role is well-suited for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and are comfortable handling chemicals while following strict operating procedures. Key Responsibilities Production & Packaging Perform packaging operations according to established production procedures and work instructions. Support manufacturing operations while ensuring products meet quality and production standards. Transport chemicals, raw materials, and equipment using pumps, piping systems, forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies. Verify product quality and quantity throughout the manufacturing process. Clean equipment and work areas following production activities. Coordinate proper disposal of waste materials and complete required compliance documentation. Documentation & Quality Maintain accurate batch records and production documentation. Complete equipment logbooks and required production records. Communicate production status, equipment conditions, and process deviations to supervisors. Ensure all in-process equipment and containers are properly labeled. Follow quality guidelines and manufacturing procedures at all times. Safety & Compliance Follow all production procedures, safety policies, and environmental regulations. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, gloves, and protective suits as required. Identify and report unsafe conditions and assist in resolving safety concerns. Participate in required safety, quality, and operational training. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. QualificationsRequired Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of manufacturing experience , or an Associate degree in a Life Sciences discipline with 1-2 years of related experience . Forklift experience is required. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Basic computer skills. Ability to safely handle chemicals while following established safety procedures. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to accurately complete production documentation. Ability to lift materials, perform repetitive tasks, and work safely in a manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications 1-2 years of chemical manufacturing experience preferred. Experience working in chemical, pharmaceutical, or industrial manufacturing environments. Experience operating pallet jacks, pumps, piping systems, and other material handling equipment. Knowledge of manufacturing quality systems and production documentation.
