The ideal candidate will have experience installing underground utilities and be able to work efficiently as part of a crew on sewer, storm drain, and water line projects. Key Responsibilities Install sewer, storm drain, and water pipe according to project specifications and site plans. Read and interpret construction drawings, utility plans, and grade stakes. Check elevations and grades to ensure proper pipe alignment and installation. Assist with trench preparation, pipe placement, backfilling, and compaction. Work closely with equipment operators and foremen to complete projects safely and efficiently. Inspect pipe, fittings, and materials before installation. Follow all OSHA and company safety policies and procedures. Perform general labor duties as needed to support the crew. Minimum Qualifications 1-2 years of experience installing sewer, storm drain, and water pipe in a civil construction environment. Ability to read and interpret site plans and construction drawings. Experience checking elevations and grades using construction tools. Strong work ethic with the ability to work in various weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred.
