In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems used across various industries, including and fire sprinkler fitting. Your expertise will ensure that all piping projects meet safety standards, adhere to blueprints and schematics, and comply with industry codes such as ASME and NFPA standards. Duties Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble piping systems. Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment and cut, thread, solder, and assemble pipes. Perform pipe threading, tube bending, and fitting tasks with precision to ensure proper alignment and fit. Operate rigging equipment for lifting and positioning heavy pipe sections safely on construction sites or manufacturing facilities. Measure components accurately using calipers and other measuring tools; perform basic math calculations for precise fabrication. Maintain safety protocols at all times by adhering to OSHA regulations and site-specific safety procedures during installation or maintenance activities. Assist in routine maintenance of piping systems or components to ensure optimal performance over time. Requirements Proven experience as a Pipefitter in construction sites or manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of pipe installation processes. Ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, Fire Sprinkler plans, and ASME codes & standards confidently. Mechanical knowledge of pipe threading machines, tube benders, calipers, power tools, hand tools, and rigging equipment. Familiarity with fire sprinkler fitting procedures and pipeline assembly is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for fabrication tasks. Excellent physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials safely; comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces when necessary. Construction site experience is preferred; candidates should demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality workmanship throughout all phases of project work.
