Far West Greater Houston Area Shift:
Day Shift - Monday through Saturday, 6:00 AM to 4:30
PM Employment Type:
Full-Time (90 Working Day Contract-to-Hire) Position Summary We are seeking experienced Combo Vessel Fitter / Pipefitter / Welders to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for fitting, fabricating, and welding pressure vessels, structural components, and piping systems in a fast-paced fabrication environment. Candidates must be able to interpret fabrication drawings, perform precision fit-up, and produce high-quality welds that meet company and industry standards. Responsibilities Fit and fabricate pressure vessels, piping, and structural steel components. Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and specifications. Lay out, align, tack, and assemble vessel and pipe components. Perform GMAW and FCAW welding on carbon steel. Maintain weld quality that meets applicable codes and customer specifications. Operate fabrication equipment, grinders, torches, and measuring tools safely. Inspect work for dimensional accuracy and quality before final welding. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area. Work effectively as part of a production team to meet manufacturing schedules. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of vessel, Pipefitter, or heavy fabrication experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and weld symbols. Experience fitting pressure vessels and pipe systems. Strong knowledge of shop math, measuring tools, and fabrication techniques. Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime as required. Written Fitter Test Schedule Monday through Saturday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Overtime available based on production needs.
