In this vital role, you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of medical gas piping and equipment across healthcare facilities. Your hands-on experience with welding, pipefitting, and blueprint interpretation will contribute to delivering reliable life-saving systems that meet strict safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex projects that directly impact patient care and safety. Duties Install, assemble, and maintain medical gas piping systems in accordance with construction plans and NFPA standards Perform welding tasks including MIG, FCAW, Stick, TIG, and pipe welding to ensure secure and compliant pipe joints Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to guide installation processes Use hand tools and power tools safely for cutting, threading, soldering, and fitting pipes Conduct routine inspections of installed systems to verify proper operation and adherence to safety regulations Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and system certifications Follow all safety protocols during construction activities, including fire sprinkler fitting and pipe installation procedures Skills Proficiency in various welding techniques such as MIG, FCAW, Stick welding, TIG welding, and pipe welding Strong mechanical knowledge related to pipefitting, fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of medical gas systems Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans accurately Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and soldering tools safely Knowledge of NFPA standards governing medical gas systems and fire sprinkler systems Experience with construction site work including installation of sprinkler systems and pipe routing Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to pipe dimensions and system specifications Familiarity with safety regulations regarding construction site activities and medical gas installations Join us in delivering essential healthcare infrastructure!
