Job Summary :
TDIndustries partners with the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) to offer a comprehensive Piping Apprentice Program designed to launch long-term careers in the commercial and industrial construction trades. Beginning in May , apprentices will receive hands-on field training while also attending ABC's accredited piping curriculum over a structured four-year program. This state-recognized apprenticeship combines real-world jobsite experience with classroom learning focused on pipefitting fundamentals, safety, blueprint reading, system installation, and industry best practices. Upon completion, apprentices progress toward becoming fully qualified pipefitters with strong career opportunities within TDIndustries.

Essential Duties:
As a Piping Apprentice, you will: Assist with the installation, layout, and fabrication of piping systems Learn to interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and piping schematics Measure, cut, thread, groove, and assemble pipes and fittings Support installation of mechanical equipment, valves, supports, and hangers Practice safe use of hand tools, power tools, and specialty pipefitting equipment Work alongside experienced journeyman pipefitters and field supervisors Attend weekly ABC classes (typically in the evenings) as part of the training curriculum Progress through skill evaluations and training milestones each year Follow all TDIndustries safety protocols and quality standards Program Details Program begins in May Structured 4-year apprenticeship with paid on-the-job training and ABC schooling ABC curriculum covers pipefitting theory, system installation, math, code and safety requirements, blueprint reading, and mechanical fundamentals Full-time work with regular pay increases as benchmarks are met All hours count toward eligibility for journeyman certification Strong opportunities for career advancement within TDIndustries upon completion
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED Interest in pipefitting, construction, mechanical systems, or hands-on work Commitment to completing the full 4-year apprenticeship Ability to work safely on active job sites and in various environments Reliable transportation to job sites and ABC classes Team-oriented attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn Why Join TDIndustries?
