Job description: Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Pipe Layer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing underground piping systems essential for utility, plumbing, and pipeline projects. Your expertise will ensure that all piping is laid accurately, safely, and efficiently, contributing to the successful completion of large-scale infrastructure projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment and advanced tools in a fast-paced environment dedicated to building reliable utility networks. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and pipe laser specifications to guide installation processes Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks to excavate trenches and move materials Install underground pipelines for water, sewer, oil & gas, or other utilities with precision and adherence to safety standards Use welding techniques to secure pipe joints and ensure integrity of pipeline connections Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks around pipe installations when necessary Locate existing underground utilities using utility locating tools to prevent damage during excavation Conduct pipeline testing and inspections to verify proper installation and functionality Experience Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on pipeline installation or utility projects Hands-on operation of heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, forklifts, and front loader trucks Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings related to pipeline layouts Knowledge of concrete finishing, plumbing systems, and concrete forming techniques Experience with welding and pipe laser tools for precise alignment and jointing of pipes Understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and construction site hazards Prior work in oil & gas or utility pipeline projects is highly desirable Join us in building essential infrastructure with energy and precision!
