Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

1. Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and effectively, both orally and in writing 2. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations 3. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals 4. Responsibilities and Tasks:

Align class curriculum with industry standards 5. Actively assist in accreditation processes 6. Advise, evaluate, and record student progress 7. Maintain knowledge of current trends and developments in respective industry 8. Maintain certifications, licensures and accreditation standards for program area 9. Assist with student recruitment, retention and job placement efforts 10. Create, support, and maintain an active Occupational Advisory Committee and industry partnerships 11. Ensure safety and security requirements are met in the training area 12. Foster a productive learning and training environment 13. Encourage and exemplify professionalism and good work habits 14. Request and maintain supplies and equipment inventories 15. Propose required budget and purchase requests; follow purchasing guidelines 16. Prepare and maintain all required documentation and administrative reports 17. Performs other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

1. High school diploma/GED or higher level. 2. Certified Journeyman Lineman 3. Four (4) years' experience as a Journeyman line worker 4. Two (2) years' experience in power line construction 5. Must have pole climbing experience 6. Must successfully pass criminal background check 7.
