October 2026 A1 Construction Group is hiring experienced Pipe Fitters for an industrial/commercial construction project in Chesapeake, Virginia. Job Responsibilities Install, assemble, and fit piping systems in an industrial/commercial construction environment Read and interpret construction drawings, isometric drawings, and piping layouts Measure, cut, prepare, align, and fit pipe for installation Work with various types of piping materials, including: Galvanized Pipe Stainless Steel Schedule 10 Pipe Stainless Steel Schedule 40 Pipe Carbon Steel Pipe Coordinate with welders and other trades to complete piping installations Perform field modifications and adjustments as required Follow project specifications, quality requirements, and site safety procedures Qualifications Previous professional pipe fitting experience required Experience with industrial/commercial piping systems preferred Experience working with stainless steel, carbon steel, and galvanized piping preferred Ability to read and understand piping drawings and layouts Ability to accurately measure, cut, align, and fit pipe Ability to work safely and efficiently in a construction site environment Must be able to pass a background check prior to employment Entry-level candidates are not preferred Employment & Benefits Full-Time / W-2 employment Approximately 6-month project Expected start: October 2026 Project location: Chesapeake, VA Meal (lunch) provided How to Apply Please submit your resume to .
