Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pipefitter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems across various projects, ensuring all work adheres to safety and quality standards. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of complex process and mechanical piping systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites and manufacturing facilities, utilizing your technical skills to deliver high-quality results efficiently. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints to determine pipe layouts and specifications. Measure, cut, thread, bend, solder, and assemble pipes using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and pipe threading equipment to meet project specifications. Install process piping systems for manufacturing facilities. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations by adhering to safety protocol guidelines such as proper rigging techniques and power tool safety practices. Interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately to execute precise pipe fitting and fabrication tasks. Conduct routine maintenance on piping systems post-installation to ensure optimal operation and longevity. Experience Proven experience working as a Pipefitter in construction or manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of pipe installation, fabrication, and maintenance processes. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, construction plans, and technical drawings related to piping systems. Knowledge of safety regulations including ASME standards and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) protocols for construction sites. Mechanical knowledge of industrial MEP systems. Experience working with power tools such as grinders, drills, pipe benders, calipers, and rigging equipment on active construction sites or manufacturing floors. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations accurately. Construction site experience demonstrating the ability to work efficiently in dynamic environments while maintaining safety standards. Pay:
$34.00 - $38.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
