In this role, you will be responsible for applying plaster and stucco finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and renovation projects, transforming spaces with precision and durability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects while honing your skills in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal plaster adhesion Mix plaster, stucco, or other finishing materials according to project specifications Apply plaster or stucco using hand tools and power tools, ensuring smooth, even finishes on walls, ceilings, and facades Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements Install building materials such as drywall, metal studs, or framing components as needed for renovation or new construction Perform rebar installation and concrete finishing tasks in conjunction with masonry work for structural integrity Adhere strictly to safety protocols while operating heavy equipment and working at heights on scaffolding or ladders Assist with masonry tasks including bricklaying, stone masonry, and mortar work to support overall project goals Conduct repairs or restoration work on existing structures by applying plastering techniques suitable for renovation projects Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for cutting, shaping, and installing various building materials Requirements Proven experience in plastering, stucco application, or related masonry fields with a strong portfolio of completed projects Knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting blueprints or technical drawings accurately Hands-on experience with concrete forming, finishing, and masonry techniques including bricklaying and stone masonry Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) on construction sites Ability to operate heavy equipment such as scaffolding systems safely and effectively Skills in drywall installation, caulking, trim carpentry, roofing prep, tile laying, and metal stud framing are highly desirable Strong understanding of construction plans for renovation projects and the ability to interpret blueprint specifications Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude towards safety compliance and quality workmanship Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions over extended periods Join us as a Plasterer if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your expertise to exciting construction projects.
