The primary focus of this role is to perform stucco plastering on the exterior of buildings. The ideal candidate will have experience in exterior stucco application, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, contributing to the durability and aesthetic appeal of building exteriors. Responsibilities Apply stucco plaster to the exterior surfaces of buildings with precision and attention to detail Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying necessary primers or base coats Mix and apply plaster materials according to project specifications and industry standards Ensure proper curing and finishing techniques are followed for a smooth, durable surface Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and regulations Collaborate with team members and project managers to meet project deadlines and quality standards Inspect completed work for quality assurance and address any touch-ups or corrections needed Requirements Proven experience in exterior stucco plastering or related masonry work Knowledge of different plastering techniques and materials used in stucco application Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship skills Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor in various weather conditions Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team Commitment to safety practices and maintaining a clean work environment This position is an excellent opportunity for experienced plasterers looking to contribute their skills to high-quality exterior finishing projects.
