In this role, you will be responsible for applying stucco finishes to building exteriors and interiors, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the aesthetic appeal and durability of various construction projects, from residential renovations to commercial builds. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer to ensure proper adhesion of stucco materials. Mix and apply stucco compounds using hand tools and power tools, following specified formulas and techniques. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to accurately execute stucco applications. Install rebar reinforcement and build masonry scaffolds as needed for elevated or complex work areas. Perform related masonry tasks such as bricklaying, stone masonry, plastering, and concrete finishing to support project requirements. Ensure all work complies with safety protocols, building codes, and project timelines. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly. Qualifications Proven experience in stucco application, masonry, or related construction fields with a strong understanding of concrete, plastering, and finishing techniques. Skilled in interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of construction estimating, rebar installation, metal stud framing, drywall installation, roofing, caulking, trim carpentry, tile laying, and heavy equipment operation is highly desirable. Familiarity with building materials such as mortar work, stone masonry, concrete masonry units (CMUs), and various hand and power tools. Ability to read safety protocols thoroughly and adhere strictly to safety standards on-site. Experience with renovation projects or restoration work is a plus. Strong physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, lifting heavy materials, and working at heights on scaffolds or ladders.
