Duties Interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute masonry projects Mix and apply mortar for bricklaying, stone masonry, and rebar installation with precision and consistency Build and install concrete forms and scaffolding to support various construction phases Install rebar reinforcement in concrete structures following safety protocols and technical specifications Lay bricks, stones, tiles, stucco, and other materials to meet design standards and project requirements Perform finishing tasks such as concrete smoothing, caulking, drywall installation, and trim carpentry for polished results Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols Read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately to ensure project specifications are met during renovation or restoration projects Assist in construction estimating by assessing material needs and labor requirements for masonry tasks Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris regularly Skills Extensive experience with concrete masonry including laying bricks, stones, tiles, stucco, and related materials Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for accurate project execution Skilled in concrete finishing techniques such as smoothing, sealing, and surface preparation Strong knowledge of rebar installation, concrete forming processes, and schematics interpretation Ability to build masonry scaffolding safely on construction sites while following all safety protocols Experience with renovation projects involving restoration work or historic building preservation Familiarity with building material installation including drywall, roofing components, framing (metal stud framing), drywall finishing, caulking, trim carpentry, and plastering Competence in using hand tools (trowels, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), and specialized equipment for masonry work Understanding of construction estimating principles related to material quantities and labor costs for masonry tasks Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to all safety guidelines on construction sites Join us in creating enduring structures that define communities!
