Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Masonry Worker to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of masonry tasks to bring architectural visions to life, ensuring structural integrity, durability, and aesthetic appeal. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and restoration projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team committed to high-quality craftsmanship and safety excellence. Responsibilities Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute masonry projects. Mix, pour, and spread concrete, mortar, and plaster with precision to meet project specifications. Install rebar and build concrete forms for foundations, walls, and other structures. Lay bricks, stones, blocks, and tiles with attention to detail and adherence to safety standards. Construct and dismantle masonry scaffolding as needed for elevated work areas. Perform finishing work such as smoothing concrete surfaces and applying stucco or caulking for a polished look. Follow safety protocols consistently while operating hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment on-site. Skills Extensive experience in concrete masonry, bricklaying, stone masonry, and restoration projects. Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans. Strong knowledge of building material installation including stucco, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and roofing components. Skilled in rebar installation, concrete forming, plastering, tile laying, and mortar work. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently on busy construction sites. Experience with construction estimating and understanding of project timelines. Knowledge of safety protocols related to scaffolding building, working at heights, and handling hazardous materials.
