Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Masonry Worker to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of masonry tasks that contribute to the successful completion of building projects. Your expertise will help create durable, aesthetically pleasing structures by utilizing your knowledge of concrete, bricklaying, stone masonry, and related skills. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new constructions to restoration and renovation efforts, all while maintaining high safety standards and quality workmanship. Responsibilities Construct, repair, and restore walls, facades, pavements, and other structures using bricks, stones, concrete blocks, and other building materials. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of masonry plans. Mix and apply mortar or grout with precision to secure bricks and stones in place. Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and install masonry units efficiently. Install reinforcement materials such as rebar for structural stability and perform concrete forming and finishing tasks. Build scaffolding and work at heights safely during construction or restoration projects. Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure work environment on construction sites. Requirements Proven experience in concrete masonry work, bricklaying, stone masonry, or related construction fields. Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical specifications accurately. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, as well as power tools like saws and drills. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material installation techniques. Experience with rebar installation, concrete finishing, plastering, stucco application, and tile laying is highly desirable. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including scaffolding building is a plus. Strong understanding of safety protocols specific to construction sites; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Ability to work effectively within a team on diverse projects including renovation, restoration, new builds, or commercial developments.
