Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hardscaper to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining durable outdoor hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and decorative stonework. Your expertise will help transform outdoor spaces into functional and aesthetically pleasing environments. Duties Prepare sites by clearing debris, excavating areas, and setting forms for concrete or stone installation Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers or mini-excavators to assist with site preparation and material placement Install concrete forms, pour and finish concrete surfaces with precision using finishing tools Fabricate and install masonry elements including brick, stone, or block walls with attention to detail Use hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and installing materials like pavers, bricks, or tiles Apply sealants, caulking, or plastering techniques to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal of finished surfaces Conduct construction inspections to ensure safety standards are met throughout each phase of the project Coordinate with team members on site management, material handling, and project timelines to ensure smooth workflow Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly Qualifications Proven experience in hardscape installation or related construction fields such as masonry, carpentry, or landscaping Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation for accurate project execution Skilled in operating heavy equipment and power tools safely and efficiently Familiarity with construction management practices including estimating costs and scheduling tasks Experience with concrete finishing, masonry work (bricklaying, stonework), roofing basics, and restoration techniques is highly desirable Ability to read technical drawings such as schematics for electrical or plumbing components related to outdoor structures Knowledge of safety protocols on construction sites including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship excellence Join our team today to help craft stunning outdoor environments!
