Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Masonry Worker to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of masonry tasks that bring architectural visions to life. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of masonry projects Mix, apply, and finish concrete, mortar, plastering, stucco, and caulking to create solid structures and smooth surfaces Install building materials such as bricks, stones, concrete blocks, and tiles with precision and attention to detail Build and dismantle masonry scaffolding safely for access during construction or restoration projects Install reinforcement bars (rebar) in concrete forms to enhance structural integrity Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and welding apparatus safely and efficiently Collaborate with carpenters, roofers, drywall installers, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project completion Follow safety protocols diligently on-site to maintain a secure working environment at all times Requirements Proven experience in concrete masonry work or related construction fields with a strong portfolio of completed projects Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and specifications accurately Skilled in using hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels as well as power tools including drills and saws Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material installation techniques Experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, tile laying, stone masonry, and restoration work preferred Familiarity with heavy equipment operation relevant to masonry tasks is a plus Strong understanding of safety procedures and adherence to OSHA standards or equivalent safety regulations Ability to work at heights using scaffolding or ladders safely while maintaining quality standards Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to interpret technical instructions clearly Join our team if you're eager to craft enduring structures while advancing your skills in a vibrant construction environment.
