Commercial and Industrial Construction / Public Works / Davis-Bacon Projects Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Commercial Journeyman Plumber to join our team on prevailing wage commercial and government-funded construction projects in Anchorage, Alaska. Work includes installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial plumbing and heating systems on schools, municipal facilities, healthcare buildings, and federal military projects. Responsibilities Install commercial plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping Install hydronic and steam boilers and heating systems Read and interpret blueprints and specifications Perform rough-in and finish plumbing work Install DWV, domestic water, hydronic, and gas piping systems Ensure work complies with applicable plumbing codes and safety standards Coordinate with project superintendent, foremen and other trades on active job sites Complete work on schedule while maintaining quality standards Requirements Alaska Journeyman Plumber Certificate of Fitness Anchorage Journeyman Plumber license Minimum 3-5 years commercial plumbing experience Experience on prevailing wage or Davis-Bacon projects preferred Ability to read commercial construction drawings OSHA 10 certification preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass background check and drug screening Compensation & Benefits Prevailing wage pay structure Overtime opportunities Health and dental insurance offered Retirement/401(k) with company match Per diem available for qualifying projects Preferred Experience Commercial mechanical systems Government or military base projects Welded or threaded pipe systems Hydronic and steam heating systems Apply Today Submit your resume with work history, certifications, and references.
