Job Description

Job Overview Premier Mechanical LLC, based in Wasilla, AK, provides comprehensive plumbing services across the state, including remote villages and cities. Applicants must be willing to travel. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations, delivering top-quality service to our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to building safe, efficient plumbing infrastructure. Duties
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, gas piping systems, and HVAC components in accordance with construction plans and schematics.
  • Read blueprints and schematics accurately to determine project requirements and ensure proper installation procedures.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
  • Adhere strictly to local building codes, plumbing regulations, and industry safety standards during all project phases.
  • Perform maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) on existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate effectively with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC specialists, and field crews to coordinate timelines and technical specifications.
  • Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment while maintaining strict site safety protocols.
  • Travel to and perform work in remote locations as required.
Pay:
$48.00 - $53.00 per hour
