Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. As a key player in our projects, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across commercial and residential sites. Your expertise in construction plumbing, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will ensure that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new installations to remodeling and maintenance tasks, contributing to the success of our construction initiatives. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites and during remodeling projects Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment necessary for plumbing installation and repairs Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project tasks on construction sites Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues related to plumbing and related mechanical systems Requirements Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with a strong background in construction plumbing and site work Valid journeyman or equivalent certification/license in plumbing or related field Hands-on experience with pipe threading, welding, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation Familiarity with HVAC systems, schematics, and general mechanical knowledge is highly desirable Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery, and construction equipment safely Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and OSHA standards Strong math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, climb ladders/scaffolding, and work in confined spaces Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience preferred Join us as a Journeyman Plumber if you're passionate about building quality infrastructure!
