Journeyman Plumber

New Construction Installer/Journeyman Plumber Pay:

$28.00 - $32.00 per hour Job description: Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Journeyman/Journey worker Plumber to join our growing new construction team. This critical role involves performing all phases of plumbing work on new residential construction projects, from ground-up installation to final fixture setting. The ideal candidate will be reliable, professional, and dedicated to delivering work of the highest quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Execute all phases of new construction plumbing installation, including base, top out, and trim work. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste disposal systems. Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fittings, and fixtures involved in the distribution of water, and drainage. Adhere strictly to all local, state plumbing codes, safety regulations, and construction timelines. Inspect and test plumbing systems for proper function, leaks, and compliance with specifications. Collaborate effectively with general contractors, project managers, and other trades on-site to ensure smooth project flow. Mentor and guide apprentice plumbers as needed. Required Qualifications Valid State-Issued Journeyman Plumber License is required. Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience performing full-cycle construction plumbing work. Strong knowledge of the tools, equipment, and methods used in the plumbing trade. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and perform physical labor necessary for the job. Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
