Veterans Preference Job Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems including underground, water supply, drainage, and waste disposal systems. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems and materials required. Cut, thread, and bend pipes to specifications, using hand and power tools. Install fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and industrial appliances. Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pumps. Inspect plumbing systems for defects, leaks, and potential hazards, and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Proficient in Pro Press Adhere to all local, state, and federal plumbing codes and safety regulations. Troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure timely and efficient project completion. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Job Qualifications :
Completion of an accredited plumbing apprenticeship program or equivalent work experience. High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a commercial plumber. Thorough knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, materials, and techniques. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Understanding of plumbing codes and safety regulations. Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. C ommunication and interpersonal skills. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and at heights. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to work sites.
Work Schedule:
Full Time/40 hours per week.
