Job Description

Specialties Installer performs a wide variety of shop and field operational duties. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, dependable, and works well with others in a team setting. This role entails installing wire shelving, showers doors, mirrors, and bath/kitchen hardware in the home. Responsibilities- WIRE
SHELVING
Cut wire shelving to size, follow shelving template to pre-drill holes and fasten closet shelves to the wall.
SHOWER DOORS
Install pre-fab shower door kits and custom 3/8" shower doors & panels.
MIRRORS:
Cut mirror glass to size and measure and mount/attach mirror(s) to wall ensuring they are level.
BATH ACCESSORIES
Follow template to pre-drill holes and fasten bath accessories to the wall (towel rod, towel holder, toilet paper holder, etc) Load/unload materials as needed. Communicate directly to the customer/builder when necessary. Other duties as assigned Physical Demands- Loads and logs materials onto the truck and make a notation of returned materials. Maintain tools and maintain truck housekeeping. Able to walk throughout the residential job site to access materials and complete job tasks. Able to ascend/descend ladders to install shelving, mirrors or hardware. Able to bend, twist, and turn body at shoulders, waist, knees. Stand for extended periods of time. Works in a construction environment; able to adapt to weather conditions. Able to transport and lift materials up to 50 lbs. Required Experience- High School diploma or GED. Experienced in the construction industry. Basic math skills. Work in a dynamic environment with a crew. Specialties installers must be proficient in using hand and power tools, tape measure, laser level and laser measuring tools and able to use common hand tools, knives, saws, and pliers. Specialties installer must be able to read job instructions and record materials to work order. Work independently in residential homes or commercial projects. Special Requirements- Driver Position requires a Motor Vehicle Report and may require a Drug Test to be completed, contingent upon employment. Must be available to work overtime and weekends as needed.
