This is a commission-driven role for a plumber who can diagnose a problem, present clear repair and replacement options, and close the sale on the spot — while still delivering the technical work at a high standard. Success looks like a full schedule, strong close rates, and repeat customers who trust your recommendations. Top performers in this role are earning $150K+ between base pay and uncapped commission. Responsibilities Diagnose plumbing issues on-site and present customers with clear, itemized good/better/best repair and replacement options Close sales on the spot, explaining pricing, financing, value before work begins, and follow-up Perform the repair, replacement, or installation work following the sale Upsell relevant services and memberships Complete accurate job documentation and pricing for every call Build customer trust that leads to referrals and repeat business Meet or exceed monthly sales and revenue targets Qualifications Valid plumbing license in the State of Illinois (required) Proven experience in residential service, repair, and sales Strong closing skills and comfort discussing pricing directly with customers Excellent communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Money-motivated with a strong work ethic Comfortable working independently and managing a full daily schedule Compensation & Benefits Top technicians averaging $150,000+ annually.
