Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing, mechanical systems, and on-site installation and repair. This role involves working on various commercial and residential projects, ensuring plumbing systems are installed, maintained, and repaired efficiently and safely. The Journeyman Plumber will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, working with hand and power tools, and collaborating with other trades to complete projects on time and within specifications. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise installations Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble piping systems Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required for installation projects Conduct remodeling, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems on construction sites Collaborate with construction teams to ensure adherence to safety protocols and project timelines Perform field service work including diagnosing issues and providing effective solutions Follow schematics and technical instructions related to HVAC systems when applicable Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety standards, and company policies Skills Proven experience in construction plumbing, pipe threading, welding, and mechanical knowledge Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery, and HVAC equipment Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and best practices Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work Experience in carpentry, remodeling, maintenance, or handyman tasks is a plus Valid commercial driver's license (preferred) for site travel or material transport Ability to lift heavy loads safely and work in physically demanding environments This position offers an opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute their expertise in a dynamic construction environment.
