Job Description
Overview Unite Contracting is seeking a highly skilled and dependable Commercial Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and local building codes. The ideal candidate will bring extensive construction experience, technical proficiency, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service on every project. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new construction to remodeling and system upgrades, contributing significantly to the efficiency and safety of commercial water systems. Duties Install, repair, and maintain complex plumbing systems in commercial settings, including water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute plumbing layouts. Conduct plumbing inspections using specialized cameras and diagnostic tools to identify issues within water systems. Perform drain cleaning, pipe fitting, welding, and assembly using hand tools and power tools. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate work schedules and ensure customer satisfaction. Troubleshoot plumbing system malfunctions and perform repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Assist with remodeling projects by providing expert plumbing services and handyman skills as needed. Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities for documentation purposes. Qualifications Proven construction experience with a focus on commercial plumbing projects. Proficiency in drain cleaning, plumbing inspection cameras, schematics, and blueprint reading. Knowledge of local building codes related to plumbing installations and repairs. Experience working on construction sites with heavy lifting requirements. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, carpentry techniques, and assembly methods. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Pay:
