Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, gas piping systems, and HVAC components in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Read blueprints, construction plans, schematics, and schematics to accurately execute plumbing layouts according to project specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete pipe installation and assembly tasks efficiently. Ensure all work adheres to local building codes, plumbing building codes, and safety regulations throughout every phase of construction or repair. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing plumbing systems to ensure optimal operation and compliance with mechanical knowledge standards. Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and field service personnel to coordinate project timelines and resolve technical issues promptly. Maintain a safe work environment by following safety regulations during heavy lifting, pipe installation, remodeling projects, and site operations. Assist in reading construction plans and construction site experience to interpret project requirements accurately. Perform troubleshooting on plumbing system failures using schematics and technical manuals; diagnose issues related to pipe threading or system malfunctions. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about project progress or system maintenance needs. Experience Proven construction experience with residential plumbing, commercial plumbing, or construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with heavy lifting and assembly tasks. Skilled in welding techniques relevant to pipe fabrication and gas piping systems installation. Strong knowledge of plumbing building codes, local building codes, safety regulations, and mechanical standards applicable to various project types. Experience reading blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and schematics for accurate installation or repair work. Hands-on experience with pipe installation including pipe threading; familiarity with power tools is essential. Background in maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), remodeling projects, or handyman tasks is highly desirable. Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for measurements and material estimations in construction plumbing projects. Valid driver's license for commercial driving purposes; experience with construction driving preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to field service challenges in diverse environments such as HVAC or mechanical systems maintenance.
