Job Description

Journeyman Plumber - Ipswich, MA Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our team in Ipswich. In this role, you will handle plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs on primarily residential job sites. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience working as a licensed Journeyman Plumber, combining strong technical expertise with excellent customer service and full code compliance on every job.
Key Responsibilities Installation & Repair:
Diagnose, install, and repair plumbing systems, including high-efficiency boilers, water heaters, radiant heat systems, and plumbing fixtures.
Customer Interaction:
Serve as a point of contact for clients on site, explaining project scope and providing professional, friendly service.
Code Compliance:
Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal plumbing regulations.
Project Coordination:
Work with project managers to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
Materials & Safety:
Manage job site materials and inventory and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
Qualifications Licensing:
Valid Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber License with a minimum of 5+ years holding the license. This is a firm requirement.
Experience:
5+ years of hands-on residential and/or commercial plumbing experience performed as a licensed Journeyman.
Technical Skills:
Deep knowledge of plumbing codes, heating systems, and specialized equipment.
Communication:
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Valid Driver's License:
Clean driving record required.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions (bending, kneeling, crawling). What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience. Full-time, year-round work.
