Hourly Pay + Commission James A. Wheat & Sons is currently seeking a skilled Plumber to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential properties. Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues to provide effective solutions. Perform inspections of plumbing systems to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations. Respond to emergency plumbing calls in a timely manner. Educate customers on plumbing systems, providing maintenance advice and guidance. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Collaborate with team members and assist in training apprentices as needed. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program preferred. Valid plumbing license as required by local regulations. Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service. Due to insurance requirements, applicants must have a valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
