Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service with clear, professional communication. Diagnose, repair, and install plumbing systems in residential settings. Ensure all work is completed to code, company standards, and customer satisfaction. Troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently and recommend effective solutions. Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites. Mentor and support apprentices, helping develop their skills in the field. Follow all safety procedures and promote a safe working environment. Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good condition. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and successfully. Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude. Company Expectations At Vredevoogd, we live by our core values: Do the Right Thing Be Committed to Excellence Show Others That You Care Minimum Qualifications Valid Journeyman Plumber license preferred (or readiness to test). High school diploma or GED equivalent. Valid driver's license with insurability through Vredevoogd's insurance carrier. Ability to pass initial and random drug screenings, as well as a comprehensive national background check. Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, codes, and best practices. Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift over 75 lbs, climb in and out of vehicles, and work in varying weather conditions. Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
