Lascko Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Drain Installation Technician to join our growing team in Muskegon, Michigan. Position Overview The Lead Drain Installation Technician is responsible for the accurate, efficient, and high-quality installation of residential drain equipment, both interior and exterior. This includes pipe bursting, CIPP pipe lining, and using excavators for outside dig jobs. In this role, you will collaborate with the installation manager, warehouse team, and apprentices to complete projects on time, maintain safety standards, and deliver exceptional service that secures lifelong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities Project Execution:
Lead and oversee residential drain installations, ensuring all jobs are completed on time, within budget, and to company quality standards.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure job sites are properly staged, complete quality checklists, and maintain a clean, organized work environment and service vehicle. This includes camera inspections of completed work.
Customer Relations:
Establish strong client rapport, present a professional image, and resolve any customer concerns quickly and favorably.
Mentorship:
Train, mentor, and guide installation apprentices to foster their professional growth and ensure team-wide quality control.
Operations & Inventory:
Maintain accurate truck inventory and submit timely, precise paperwork, invoices, and time cards.
Professional Development:
Actively participate in morning meetings, company training exercises, and technical vendor seminars. Qualifications & Experience Proven experience in residential drain or plumbing installation. Ability to operate an excavator is a plus. Strong leadership skills with a desire to teach and mentor apprentices. Positive Growth Mindset Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record. Current relevant certifications, or a willingness to obtain them (Lascko Services assists with certification paths).
