Your role will be vital in supporting plumbing projects from initial setup to final inspection, ensuring quality workmanship and safety at every step. Responsibilities Assist with the installation of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances, following blueprints and schematics. Support the reading and interpretation of technical drawings and schematics to ensure accurate project execution. Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and other equipment safely and effectively under supervision. Participate in pipe fitting, threading, cutting, and assembly tasks to prepare materials for installation. Help maintain plumbing systems through routine inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting of issues on-site. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and building codes to promote a safe working environment for all team members. Contribute to remodeling projects by assisting with carpentry tasks and general handyman duties as needed. Learn about HVAC systems and their integration with plumbing components for comprehensive building maintenance. Support field service activities by assisting technicians with system maintenance and customer service tasks. Experience No prior professional experience required; however, construction experience or familiarity with construction sites is a plus. Basic knowledge of plumbing principles, mechanical systems, or related trades is beneficial but not mandatory—training will be provided. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding, or pipe threading enhances your readiness for this role. Strong aptitude for reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings is advantageous. A solid understanding of basic math skills is important for measurements and calculations involved in plumbing work. Demonstrated commitment to safety protocol adherence and a proactive attitude toward learning are essential qualities. Previous handyman work or remodeling experience can provide a helpful foundation for success in this apprenticeship.
