Drain Technician - Plumbing & Drain Service Thelen Plumbing, Heating & Air Full-Time | Residential Service Join the Thelen Team Thelen Plumbing, Heating & Air is growing, and we're looking for a motivated Drain Technician to join our team. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with customers, and taking pride in doing the job right. This position will primarily focus on residential drain cleaning, sewer services, troubleshooting, and identifying additional plumbing or drain solutions when needed. What You'll Do Perform residential drain cleaning and sewer services Clear clogged sinks, tubs, toilets, floor drains, and main sewer lines Operate drain cleaning machines and related equipment Perform sewer camera inspections Diagnose drain and sewer problems Explain findings and repair options clearly to homeowners Identify opportunities for additional drain or plumbing repairs Provide upfront options and recommendations Maintain a clean and professional work area Properly document each service call Take care of company tools, equipment, and vehicles Deliver a great customer experience from start to finish What We're Looking For Drain cleaning, plumbing, HVAC, construction, or home-service experience preferred Mechanically inclined and comfortable troubleshooting problems Strong communication and customer-service skills Comfortable presenting repair and replacement options to homeowners Self-motivated and able to work independently Professional appearance and attitude Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Able to lift and operate drain-cleaning equipment Willing to learn and continue developing technical and sales skills Drain experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person with a strong mechanical background and the right attitude.
