Help Build the Company. Lucky Dog Sewer & Drain is a Marine Corps veteran-owned plumbing, sewer, and drain company serving the Twin Cities and West Metro. We're looking for an experienced Minnesota Master Plumber who wants something different from the typical plumbing job. We're flexible. If you want a full-time field position, we can build that role. If you're an experienced master who wants to work fewer hours while helping supervise, mentor, train, and support a growing plumbing operation, we're open to that too. For the right person, we're willing to structure the position around your experience, availability, and what you actually want the next stage of your career to look like. We're open to several structures, including: Full-time Master Plumber Part-time Master Plumber Working Master / Responsible Individual A leadership-focused role combining field work, training, supervision, permitting, inspections, and quality control Maybe you're running your own small shop and are tired of handling everything yourself. Maybe you've spent decades in the trade and don't want to work 40-50 hours in the field anymore. Maybe you're looking for a company where you can help build something rather than simply being handed another service schedule. We're willing to have that conversation. What You'll Do Responsibilities will depend on how we structure the position, but may include: Serve as Lucky Dog's Master Plumber and Responsible Individual Perform and/or oversee residential and light commercial plumbing work Support permitting, inspections, and code compliance Provide technical leadership on complex plumbing jobs Mentor and develop our journeyman plumber and technicians Establish workmanship and quality-control standards Help evaluate plumbing jobs and scopes of work Help develop procedures and best practices as the company grows Assist with hiring and training future plumbers Represent Lucky Dog professionally with customers, inspectors, contractors, and property managers Qualifications Current Minnesota Master Plumber license required or abilty to obtain/reactivate one promptly Willingness to serve as the Responsible Individual strongly preferred Minneapolis and/or St. Paul competency card(s) preferred Strong knowledge of Minnesota plumbing code and permitting requirements Residential and/or light commercial plumbing experience High workmanship standards and integrity Professional communication and customer service skills Ability to mentor and develop other tradespeople Reliable, accountable, and comfortable working in a growing small business Valid driver's license for field-based roles Experience as a foreman, service manager, plumbing contractor, business owner, or Responsible Individual is valuable but not required.
