$38.00 - $40.00/hour) Our client are seeking an experienced Plumber to join the team in Omaha, NE. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled plumbing professional who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and keeping commercial building systems operating safely and reliably. The Plumber will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, inspecting, and troubleshooting plumbing systems throughout commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, sound diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of safety and workmanship. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, and repairs on commercial plumbing systems and equipment. Troubleshoot plumbing issues and determine the appropriate repair or corrective action. Repair and maintain plumbing fixtures, piping, valves, pumps, drains, water supply systems, and related equipment. Diagnose leaks, blockages, pressure issues, and other plumbing system problems. Perform repairs and replacements on toilets, urinals, sinks, faucets, flush valves, water heaters, and other plumbing fixtures. Inspect plumbing equipment and systems to identify potential problems before they become major failures. Respond to plumbing emergencies and complete repairs in a timely manner to minimize disruption to building operations. Perform installations, modifications, and upgrades to plumbing systems as required. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with applicable plumbing codes, safety requirements, and company procedures. Read and interpret drawings, plans, schematics, and equipment documentation when necessary. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment conditions. Manage assigned work orders and prioritize maintenance and repair activities effectively. Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, building personnel, vendors, and clients. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Qualifications 2+ years of relevant plumbing, commercial maintenance, or facilities experience. Commercial plumbing experience strongly preferred. Journeyman plumbing license or applicable plumbing credentials preferred/required as applicable to the position and local regulations.
