In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of plumbing building codes, blueprint reading, and construction site procedures. Your expertise in pipe installation, gas piping systems, and system maintenance will ensure compliance with safety regulations and building standards. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require technical proficiency, mechanical knowledge, and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local building codes and project specifications Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to determine plumbing requirements Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble piping systems Perform pipe installation for water supply, drainage, gas piping systems, and HVAC applications Adhere to safety regulations during all phases of construction and field service activities Collaborate with construction teams to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining quality standards Assist with remodeling projects by installing fixtures, piping, and related plumbing components Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately Knowledge of plumbing building codes, local regulations, and safety standards Experience working with heavy lifting equipment, hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading machinery Hands-on experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) in a construction setting Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems and gas piping installations Strong understanding of construction site protocols including safety regulations Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations Prior experience in residential or commercial plumbing projects is highly desirable This role is ideal for a motivated professional eager to contribute technical expertise within a dynamic construction environment.
