Water Systems Installation and Service Technician Aqua Source Inc. - Bloomfield, NY AquaSource Inc., is a family-run company proudly serving the Finger Lakes and Western NY region. We are a dynamic, profitable, growing company and we are seeking a self-motivated applicant for the position of a Field Technician to install and service water purification systems and well / lake pump systems for customers. We offer top-of-the-line water filtration products to our customers with the goal of providing the purest and most refreshing water possible. To be successful in this position, you must have excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and efficiently, and be highly motivated. This position has a great opportunity for advancement! This is a full-time Technician position based out of our main office in Bloomfield NY. Pay based on experience. Job Requirements Provide ongoing maintenance, service, and installations at customer facilities Diagnose, repair, and install water treatment equipment Learn basic to advanced plumbing skills Safely operate service vehicles Identify customer needs and recommend product solutions Answer customer questions Provide unequaled customer service by providing timely, responsive successful repair and maintenance calls. Communicate with the customer while at the customer site to determine system problems. Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair problems. Identify and replace faulty parts as necessary. Follow-up with customer after service is complete. Comply with safety rules and maintain a clean and orderly work area. Assist shop personnel and perform other miscellaneous duties as required.
Qualifications:
Excellent technical aptitude, with plumbing, mechanical and electrical experience a plus Strong analytical ability to identify and resolve problems An active learner - always trying to learn and improve Safety oriented team player with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability Effective communicator - both written and oral Ability to work well with others Comfortable working independently or in teams Dedicated to providing outstanding customer service through attention to detail and follow-through Willing to commit additional time during peak periods Committed to learning and growth through skill training and education
