Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, gas piping, and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings. Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete installations efficiently. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Perform maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) tasks on existing plumbing systems to optimize performance. Collaborate with construction teams, contractors, and project managers to coordinate work schedules and meet project deadlines. Conduct heavy lifting and physical tasks required for construction site work while maintaining safety protocols at all times. Skills Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair in residential and commercial settings. Strong knowledge of construction plumbing systems, schematics, blueprints reading, and mechanical principles. Experience working with gas piping systems, HVAC components, pipe threading, welding, and assembly techniques. Familiarity with building code compliance requirements specific to local jurisdictions. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and construction machinery safely. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical data accurately. Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction sites and plumbing operations to maintain a safe working environment.
