Licensed Plumber

Position Overview A+ Home Services is a growing emergency home services company serving residential and commercial clients throughout Westchester County. We are looking for a dependable, licensed plumber to join our field team. This is a full-time role with consistent work, competitive pay, and opportunity for growth. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair plumbing issues in residential and light commercial settings, including leaks, clogs, broken fixtures, pipe damage, and water heater failures. Install and replace plumbing fixtures, supply lines, drain lines, water heaters, sump pumps, and related equipment. Respond to emergency service calls promptly and professionally. Assess job scope accurately, communicate findings to customers, and provide honest recommendations. Coordinate with the office team on scheduling, job documentation, and follow-up work. Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in clean, working condition. Complete all work in compliance with New York State plumbing codes and applicable local codes in Westchester County. Document completed work with photos and written notes for company records. Requirements Valid New York State Plumber's License. Master Plumber license strongly preferred. Minimum 3 years of field plumbing experience in residential or light commercial work. Reliable transportation. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Professional demeanor when dealing with customers in their homes or businesses. Ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces. Basic smartphone proficiency for job documentation, scheduling apps, and communication with the office. Preferred Qualifications Experience with emergency and after-hours service calls. Familiarity with insurance-related water damage and mitigation work. Experience reading blueprints and working alongside other trades on renovation or restoration projects. OSHA 10 certification or equivalent safety training. Compensation and Benefits Compensation is competitive and based on experience. Details provided during the interview process.
