Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Plumbing Mechanic to join our team and contribute to the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems across various construction and commercial sites. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your expertise in construction plumbing, mechanical systems, and field service. As a Plumbing Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and functionality of plumbing infrastructure, supporting our commitment to quality and safety on every job site. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial, industrial, and residential construction environments using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and system designs. Perform pipe threading, and assembly tasks to connect pipes and fixtures securely while adhering to local code. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify leaks, blockages, or other issues; troubleshoot mechanical problems effectively. Assist with remodeling projects by removing old fixtures, installing new piping, and ensuring proper system operation. Lift heavy materials safely during installation or repair work; operate construction site equipment as required. Follow schematics and technical instructions for complex mechanical tasks; document work progress thoroughly. Support maintenance activities by performing preventative checks on plumbing infrastructure; respond promptly to field service requests. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while complying with safety regulations at all times. Experience Proven minimum 15 years experience service, renovations, and working on construction sites with a strong background in construction plumbing and general mechanical systems. Hands-on experience with pipe threading, assembly, remodeling, and maintenance tasks. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and basic math for measurements and calculations. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting techniques, and construction site safety protocols. Knowledge of commercial driving regulations is a plus for transportation between job sites. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and follow detailed instructions diligently.
